“I Help Dedicated Martial Artists Get Back On The Mats And Kick Ass In Competitions!”

We martial artists are a dedicated group of people.

We spend countless hours training, practicing, learning, studying, and even competing to become a better version of ourselves. I’ve applied that same passion for martial arts to become an advanced clinician in my profession as a Doctor of Physical Therapy. Injuries are a part of our sport and no one wants to take extended time off from the sport that they love. I’ve utilized my advanced clinical skills to help injured fighters and recreational martial artists at my gym, as well as others to get back to the sport that they love in a timely manner. There is a great need for dedicated martial artists to receive quality care that is not provided by the current medical system and my goal is to fill that void. My other goal is to utilize my past experience as a strength and conditioning specialist to provide individualized programs that will help people perform better for their sport along with minimizing risk of future injuries.

Most people recover well from their injuries when they’re moving better and feeling stronger. I specialize in teaching martial artists how to manage their injuries via video call. Learn how to manage your injury at home or at your gym. Having difficulty learning a lift? I can teach you via video call.

Load management & Recovery Coaching

Injuries can happen when you’re frequently training at a high intensity and not recovering well between sessions. I can help coach you on how to manage your training loads and how to recover efficiently for your sport. Focusing on the important factors for recovery (sleep, structured programming, hydration, and nutrition) will help you become a better athlete. Recovering well from your previous training session helps you train harder for your next session.

Concussions are usually overlooked and mismanaged with martial artists. Recovering fully from a concussion is important if you plan on training for years to come. I’ll perform the proper testing and management of your concussion to help you get back on the mats in a safe manner.
